Henry's Fork Flows

Henry's Fork Flows

The Henry's Fork is a spring creek at scale. Island Park, Ashton, and St. Anthony tell you what the day will be, and the water stays cold when other rivers do not.

A normal day at Island Park is often 200 to 500 cfs. The Ranch fishes best when it is stable. A sharp rise blows it out for days. Ashton runs higher and is the float, often 800 to 1,500. St. Anthony is the lower river, warmer and more forgiving.

The Henry's Fork holds its temp better than the freestones around it. When the Madison is too warm, the Fork is often still in play. That is the reason to check it.
